The room is generous-sized with a comfortable decor. It offers good services and value for money. Moreover, the parking is close to the hotel. The venue has a good and fab location, minutes from a medieval cathedral.

Recommend this place and will be back. Staff and location - everything was really good. We stayed for 1 night and loved the room, which was new-fashioned. The cost was £ 58.

This place was great with very good staff and rooms, enjoyed it. Pleasant staff, offered us wake up service and ironing. Everything was good as expected, though the bathroom was very dated.

I stayed in a Double Room. It was okay, but the decor felt a bit dated, and the bathroom could use some TLC. The rooms were clean enough, but I was really put off by the loud noise from the street at night-definitely not great for sleep. The bed was comfortable though, which saved it a bit. Honestly, it felt a bit like it was stuck in the past.

Position of the Hotel is fantastic, only a minutes walk to the lovely restaurants, bars, shopping etc. Staff at hotel were friendly and helpful. The room we had was at the front and the noise level was very high and that doesn't stop till around 5am, thats when you will manage to drop off. If you wish a hotel to have an early night, then this is not for you, it is positioned in the Heart of the night life, so I would recommend this Hotel for people who wish to enjoy their evening out. Hotel is looking a bit tired, our room was off a good size and clean. I would stay again.

We've stayed at the County Hotel on a few occasions, just for weekend breaks, however our last stay was our anniversary and I asked for a room upgrade at my expense. We were given a suite at no extra cost which was very much apprieciated, and also indicated to me that they do remember past guests and reward them when possible.Rooms were clean and comfortable, location superb[a stones throw from the train station]We'll definatley be returning.
Not that it bothered us, but because of it's central city location it may be a bit lively outside on occasion.

Location was fantastic - it was also quite anonymous, so it was easy to come and go during the day.
A lounge area would have been nice to relax in the evening. - I felt there was nowhere to sit down and relax without looking conspicuous
